VP Quality/Safety and Clinical Integration and previous Division Director of General Academic Pediatrics from 2007-2022

“CINCH initially started as an immunization advocate, but it has grown and become so much more.  When I think of considering having any local impact with a health program for the community the first stop is CINCH.  The group has so many tentacles and connections it makes the process so much easier.”

Nicole Mayen Regional Coordinator, Virginia Department of Health Tobacco Control Program

CINCH member since 2018

“Joining CINCH has given me various opportunities to collaborate and share information on tobacco prevention efforts and Quit Now Virginia services. Together, we hosted a regional in-person summit where we brought in state and national partners.

In the height of COVID-19, we hosted a virtual conversation with parents about e-cigarette and vaping product associated lung injury (EVALI). We have collaborated on other projects, and I look forward to the work we’ll do in the future to prevent and reduce tobacco use.”
